This fragrance is inspired by Maya Angelou, who lived as an open book. Growing up, sometimes in her grandmother's home, she was surrounded by the chatter of family and the beautiful aromas exuding from the family's kitchen and attached general store. Annually, her paternal grandmother would boil oranges to accent the fragrances in their home. Interviewed about these moments, Angelou would sometimes tear up while fondly reflecting. In Kari's Chicago-area studio, she crafts each LITOTES candle with clean soy wax and natural essential oils (no synthetics, phthalate-free).
