ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
kwabena foli is a multidisciplinary artist born in Belgium and raised in South Side Chicago. He is the author of BOI BI and the visual poetry collection learning rhythm (Flowered Concrete). He is also a Chicago poetry slam champion and national poetry slam finalist. His visual showings include Fredericks & Mae’s, Chicago Artist Coalition, University of Illinois and elsewhere. He resides in Chicago.
